Dr. Anjulika Joshi

Dr. Anjulika Joshi has over 40 years of experience in the field of education. She has her doctorate from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow. She has written multiple research papers and co-authored a book “Liposomes: Fundamentals, Properties and Applications For Targeted Drug Delivery” for postgraduate students. She has always been passionate and a big advocate of social issues. She has spent countless hours providing free education to the underprivileged. She also collaborated with “The Earth Saviours Foundation” and worked for the betterment of elderly, orphaned children and women. She was also awarded the Sanjeevani Ratna at the Sanjeevani National TV Awards ceremony in 2017.

Being an ardent nature lover, the unfortunate climate change over the years due to industrialization and urbanization has given her a new mission - to bring change at grassroots level. This propelled her to establish Pallav Green Foundation with the mission to help create a cleaner and greener environment.

She is a key member of Sahitya Kala Academy and School Management Committee of Delhi Government and has made important contribution in the field of education. Keeping all these works in mind, I have been awarded the Sanjeevani Ratna at the Sanjeevani National TV Awards ceremony in 2017.

From the Desk of the Director

Since my childhood I saw my mother working for have-nots. She was an educationist and was an ardent supporter of education who continuously worked to educate children and old people. She even opens a huge library for them. She had a great impact on me and I also started developing interest in various social issues. In the beginning, I started teaching small children in the neighbourhood but it was not the only thing I wanted in life. So I started working with the NGO “The Earth Saviors Foundation”. I voluntarily worked there for almost 3 years and spent time with abandoned children, old people and women. The association with NGO sensitized me and made me entirely new human being. Besides, I always loved the beautiful wilderness of nature. But being a resident of Delhi I witnessed the losing beauty of nature due to industrialization and urbanization. All these activities decreased the green cover which ultimately resulted in increased pollution, increased greenhouse effect and decreased oxygen levels. The chaos for oxygen during COVID time compelled me to think about forming an NGO which may work to uplift the degrading conditions of the environment and address these issues along with other social issues by eliminating bad practices.

I am basically a biochemist and have done my doctorate from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow. I have written many research papers and I am also co-author of a book “Liposomes: Fundamentals, Properties and Applications For Targeted Drug Delivery” which is meant for postgraduate students. I was a member of the committee in NCERT to ensure the syllabus of Biotechnology book of classes 11 and 12.

Apart from this, I have been a key member of Sahitya Kala Academy and School Management Committee of Delhi Government and has made important contributions in the field of education. Keeping all these works in mind, I was awarded the Sanjeevani Ratna at the Sanjeevani National TV Awards ceremony in 2017.
